State Senator Steve Stadelman invites the residents of the 34th District to two community events next week -- a virtual information session on cost-saving alternatives to cable television and a Town Hall meeting to discuss the Spring 2021 legislative session and answer other questions concerning state government.

Partnering with the Citizens Utility Board, Stadelman will present "Cut the Cable" at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 22. The information session will be livestreamed on Facebook.

The first of two Town Hall meetings takes place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, at Northwest Community Center, 1325 N. Johnston Ave., Rockford. Stadelman will conduct a second Town Hall at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, at the Rockford Public Library East Branch, 6685 E. State St., Rockford.
